From a Regional Star to a Global Leader

Company's history

L2G Institute of Management is the successor of YVI Management company, which worked in Eastern Europe (Belarus, Russia and Ukraine) since 1995, providing consulting and training services in the field of management and organizational psychology.

1995

YVI Management worked in the field of consulting and coaching for senior executives. Area of ​​expertise - organizational psychology, personnel management, and customer behavior.

1999

YVI MANAGEMENT joins the Institute of Privatization and Management (IPM), and begins to work on projects within the business school.

From 1999 to 2003 employees of YVI MANAGEMENT worked with IPM on the following projects: "Customer behavior, or how to stabilize sales," "Art of Selling", "Objectives-driven management of the company," Management for marketing professionals (Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK), "Management for business owners", Executive MBA (USA-Belarus-Poland), etc.

2003

Yuliya Ivanova, owner of YVI MANAGEMENT, moved to the United States and began working as a professor of business schools in such universities as the University of New Haven and Central Connecticut State University, CT, USA. She started using name Julia Ivy.

2004

Julia Ivy moved to Juneau, AK, by the invitation of School of Management, University of Alaska Southeast, to take the lead of the department of management. From September to April, Julia advises U.S. companies and non-governmental organizations.

During the summer, as well as on-line, she continues to work with clients from Russia, Belarus and Ukraine. Julia Ivy is actively engaged in research on management development in transition economies. Her research received awards at the Global Business Association Conference (Miami, USA, 2005), Global Conference of Business and Finance (Honolulu, Hawaii, 2008), and allow her to meet people who will join the future team of LOCAL TO GLOBAL LLC. Julia and her team partners are active members of the Chamber of Commerce in regions where they operate. They start several consulting and charitable projects to help local businesses and community organizations to become successful in the increasingly competitive environment.

2008

LOCAL TO GLOBAL LLC (L2G) is officially registered as an American academic and consulting center in the field of management. Julia Ivy, as the President of LOCAL TO GLOBAL LLC (L2G), has been invited to the Juneau Rotary International Club to lead international relations projects.

2009

Consulting project of Julia Ivy and Joan Winn, presented at the conference of Academy of Management (Chicago), is awarded the best international project in the category "Management of the State and Public Organizations", and became top five finalist for the year. A number of large U.S. non-governmental organizations seek L2G consulting and leaders' coaching training.

L2G begins operations educating immigrants from the CIS countries in the field of management, in accordance with its mission "To build a bridge between the unique competencies of managers from different regions and challenges of the global market."

2010

Started the program "ProfMC: Professional Certificate in Management". Graduates of the first recruitment in the CIS have received certificates of successful completion of the program.

"Action Management" program is offered in Russian for the Executive MBA students in Ukraine. L2G offers international program "Cross-cultural competences of senior managers at an international company", combining managers from Ukraine, USA, and Canada.

2011

A network of L2G partners is developing in the CIS. Students from Ukraine, Russia and Belarus study together in the same groups in L2G programs. L2G launches its first corporate distance learning program in the CIS countries.

2012...

L2G launches a new product - TECH "Management Techniques" for future managers. A new company - BeL2G - is established in Belarus to represent L2G.

We are open for cooperation with new L2G representatives in the regions of Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan.
